- Go to harpy.ai and create an account by clicking the top right corner
- After verifying your account, click your profile icon in the top right corner and click “Profile”
- Click “Edit”
- Set a username and change your profile picture if you want
- Go down to “Display Name” and write whatever name you like because this is the name that the AI characters will call you
- You can enter some information about yourself but I usually keep it empty unless I want to impact the scenario somehow
And that’s it. Select a character and start chatting.
Something Cool About Harpy AI:
There is this cool feature in Harpy AI that I haven’t seen in any other roleplay AI platform. And I have used a lot of these platforms. The cool feature I’m talking about is the Group Chat. When you click on “Start Chat” on a character, you are given 2 options. “Start Group Chat” and “Start 1:1 Chat”. If you click start group chat, you can add up to 2 more AI characters to talk with at the same time. That is a total of 3 separate AI characters all with their own separate personalities. The characters will interact with you and each other. It’s a pretty amazing feature that I thought deserved to be mentioned. It may be difficult to guide a conversation in a group chat, but try it a few times and you’ll get the hang of it.
